  1. Dreadful This is a remake of a classic black and white movie starring Robert Young about two damaged people who fall in love with each others true inner beauty. The original is a favorite of mine, but this version is so awful that my feelings were actually hurt.   2. NOT QUITE PERFECT (what is?), BUT CHARMING AND WELL DONE, NO MATTER WHAT! I almost loved it, but there’s no halfway “star” between like and love to signify that. I had trouble understanding, let alone believing the opening scene, but once Tom was gone, my attitude changed. That is NOT to say there was anything wrong with the actor portraying Tom; I simply couldn’t figure out why his wife’s reactions were so slow and odd when he was in such distress, nor could I figure out who “the blonde” giving CPR was.
