  1. Works But Somewhat Disappointing Just installed the basic chime (no need for WiFi extender which is what the Chime Pro adds). Easy to set up! And it works!However, unless I got a funky unit, the quality comes up short. Now, I understand the thing was $30, I’m not expecting miracles.   2. Beware of Ring and their lack of customer support! ****UPDATE**** After being contacted by Ring I was told that they know about the issue and didn’t have a solution at that time. This was not only a problem with the unit I have, but a problem with many other consumers of the Ring Pro.   3. Ring a ding ding- go buy the Ring!!! I recently purchased the Ring floodlight and the Ring Chime. They were a breeze to install and only took about 30 minutes to get them up and displaying 1080p video on my new Note 8 phone.
